Account Breaches
Breaches result in the immediate and permanent closure of your account.
You will breach your Instant Funded account if:
You exceed the 3% Daily Drawdown
You exceed the 5% Max Drawdown
You risk more than 1.5% of your account on a single asset in a single day
Your floating loss amount reaches 1.5% of your account starting balance
These limits are enforced automatically and cannot be reversed.
Max Daily Drawdown – 3% (Trailing)
Your daily loss limit is calculated based on the previous day’s highest equity or balance, whichever is higher. The limit is 3% below that amount. This resets daily at 5PM EST.
Example 1:
Monday high equity: $108,000
3% of $108,000 = $3,240
On Tuesday, your account must stay above $104,760
Example 2:
Monday high balance: $102,000
3% of $102,000 = $3,060
On Tuesday, your account must stay above $98,940
Max Trailing Drawdown – 5%
This is a trailing drawdown, meaning it adjusts upward as your account grows — until your profits reach 5%, at which point it locks at breakeven.
Example 1:
Start with $100,000
Grow to $105,000 (5% profit)
Trailing drawdown locks at $100,000
Your account cannot fall below this again
Example 2:
Peak equity: $104,000
5% trailing = $98,800
If equity drops below $98,800, the account is breached
This amount continues to trail until $105,000 is reached
