The maximum drawdown is the total loss your account can sustain from its highest balance before it is failed. Unlike the daily drawdown which resets each day, the maximum drawdown is measured from the highest point your account has ever reached.
For Instant Funded and Instant Funded Pro accounts, the maximum drawdown uses an EOD trailing mechanism — meaning the drawdown floor rises as your balance grows. See the article 'How does EOD trailing drawdown work?' in the Funded Accounts section for full details.
Challenge Type | Maximum Drawdown Limit |
One Step | 8% |
One Step Pro | 9% |
Instant Funded | 5% — EOD trailing on funded account |
Instant Funded Pro | 6% — EOD trailing on funded account |
