All open positions must be closed by 4:45 PM EST each trading day, or by the product's individual market close if that comes earlier. Any position held past the EOD close will result in an automatic account breach regardless of profit or loss. Product-specific close times apply to agricultural and commodity contracts — traders are responsible for knowing the close time of each contract they trade.
