What Happens If I Exceed the Maximum Daily Loss Limit?

Exceeding the maximum daily loss limit will result in your account being breached and closed. The specific limits depend on your account type:

  • Atlas Plus & Atlas Trader5% daily loss limit

  • Atlas Express4% daily loss limit

Evaluation Accounts

If you are in an evaluation phase and surpass the daily loss limit, your account will be terminated, and you will need to purchase a new challenge to start over.

Funded Accounts

For funded traders, exceeding the daily drawdown limit means:

  • Forfeiture of all profits earned on the account

  • Account termination

How to Avoid a Breach

To protect your account from being closed due to exceeding the daily loss limit, we strongly recommend:

  • Monitoring your trades closely and keeping track of your losses in real time

  • Using proper risk management tools like stop-loss orders to minimise potential drawdowns
