FAQ

Short answers to the questions traders ask most, with links to the full rule.

Programs

Which program has no consistency rule?

Instant Zero, 1-Step, 1-Step Pro, 2-Step and 2-Step Pro have none. Instant Funded (20%) and Access funded accounts (40%) do. See Consistency rule.

Is there a time limit to pass an evaluation?

No. The only clock is inactivity: open a trade at least once every 30 days.

Which programs have no daily loss limit?

1-Step Pro and 2-Step Pro. Their only limit is the static maximum drawdown. See Daily loss limit.

Are the rules different on MT5, TradeLocker and Match-Trader?

No. Every program has the same rules on every platform and at every size. See Trading platforms.

Trading

Can I use an EA?

Yes, on every program. On funded accounts, make sure it doesn't close trades in under 3 minutes (short trades) or trade inside news windows.

Can I hold trades overnight and over the weekend?

Yes, on every program. Remember the daily limit re-anchors at 00:00 UTC using your equity, including open trades.

Can I trade the news?

In evaluations, yes. On funded accounts, profit from trades opened or closed within 5 minutes of a high-impact event is deducted, and positions opened inside the window are closed. See News trading.

What time does the day reset?

00:00 UTC for every account. See Daily loss limit.

Does a floating profit count towards my target?

No. Targets are measured on closed balance. Close the trade to pass. See Passing a phase.

Payouts

When is my first payout?

28 days after your funded account is created on Instant Zero, Instant Funded and Access; 14 days on 1-Step, 2-Step and the Pro programs. Then every 14 days. Add-ons shorten this. See How payouts work.

What is the minimum payout?

You need at least $100 of profit to request ($50 on the Pro programs). After that you can withdraw any amount up to your profit.

Why were my positions closed when I requested a payout?

Requesting a payout closes all open positions and pauses the account until the payout is resolved. See How payouts work.

Do I get my fee back?

Yes, as Atlas Balance, when your 3rd consecutive payout on that account is paid. See Fee refund.

Do I need KYC to trade?

No. You need it before a payout can be paid. See Identity verification.

Futures

Can I hold futures positions overnight?

No. Every futures account must be flat by 4:45 PM New York time. A position still open then breaches the account. See Trading hours and EOD close.

How does the futures drawdown work?

It trails your end-of-day balance, not intraday highs. On funded Standard, Apex and Direct accounts it stops rising at your starting balance, and it locks there when you request your first payout. See EOD trailing drawdown.

Is the futures daily loss limit a breach?

No. On Atlas Standard, losing 2% in a day closes your positions and locks trading until the 4:45 PM New York reset. The account stays open. Apex, Direct and Live have no daily limit. See Daily loss lockout.

How often are futures payouts?

Every 7 days on Standard, Apex and Live, and every 14 days on Direct. On Standard, Apex and Direct, each payout is up to 50% of the cycle's profit, capped by account size. See How futures payouts work.

Breaches

My account was breached. Can I get it back?

Not the same account, but for 7 days you can reset it at a discount and continue from the phase you were in.

Does a deduction breach my account?

No. Deductions remove the profit from specific trades and the account stays open. See Breaches and deductions.
