Trading hours and EOD close
The futures trading day ends at 4:45 PM New York time. Be flat by then, every day.
Be flat by 4:45 PM ET
Every position must be closed by 4:45 PM New York time (Eastern Time), Monday to Friday. A position still open after 4:45 PM breaches the account. Holding overnight or over the weekend isn't allowed on any futures program.

At the 4:45 PM reset: - Your drawdown floor is recalculated from the day's closing balance. - A daily lockout on Atlas Standard ends. - A new trading day starts for minimum days.
Time zones
4:45 PM ET is 21:45 in London and 01:45 the next morning in Dubai while US daylight saving time is in effect, and an hour later in both places when it isn't.
On exchange holidays and early-close sessions, CME's own schedule applies. Close positions before any early close.
